happy birthday boo

My only niece turned 2 today so it was off to Chilliwack for her birthday party. It was ballerina themed and vet very pink. She looking adorable as usual and there was a good turn out. Ian and I bought her a red tricycle and she loved it! Happy birthday boo boo!

Make It Market

This past Saturday I attended the “Make it” market at the Croatian Cultural Centre on Commercial Drive.  I’ve been waiting for this market for months and it was finally here!  A full market of local and Canadian designers and everything was handmade in Canada.  Everything was unique and beautiful but I definitely had a favorite.  It was “Black Drop Designs – Photo Jewelry”  Jade Pellerin is the designer and she makes gorgeous photo jewelry.  You can see the photo below as to which one I purchased.

birthday gifts

Today was my 27th birthday and it was started at my parents house in Yarrow, B.C. My Dad made banana pancakes for breakfast and they were amazing. Most of the day was spent with my family eating, talking and ended with a good ol' family walk.

I was really spoiled, from Ian, this year and can't believe I have such a wonderful husband :)
